Amagine a woman in the 19th century who had to send her husband of to war.

She looses him in that war.

Years later she looks back on their love. She reads the love letters he send her from the front, and remembers all the good things they had together.

This is the theme i want to bring with this kit.

It;s filled with memories from the past.

We all had our heart broken at some time in our lives.

More Ideas For Using Your Stash

Felice and I are busy preparing for the holidays while fighing seasonal flare-ups of our fibromyalgia, but we haven't forgotten our promise to bring you more ideas for using your stash and more free examples.

This post will feature two new kits by Felice, Noel and Gothy Christmas and my Christmas for Kiddies (2010) and Happy Holly Days (older) kits. Here we will show you 2 cute hybrid ideas that are really useful at Christmas: candy bar wraps and gift card holders.

Candy bar wraps and gift card holders make for attractive presentation of small gifts and are perfect for stocking stuffers. The candy bar wraps shown here are sized for a standard 1.55 oz. Hershey bar but you could adjust them to fit other candy bars. All you have to do to use these is print out the wrappers from the link and wrap around your candy bar, securing with glue or tape. Note: do NOT unwrap the candy bar and remember that the top, slightly wider, section should be over the bottom section. The previews of these wrappers show that only one fits on a standard piece of cardstock or glossy photo paper with a little room to spare. I went ahead and filled that space by making a few gift tags and bookmarks.

Making The Most Of Your Digital Scrapbook & Tagger Kit Stash

This is part two of an article about all the things you can do with Tagger and Full Size Digital Scrapbook kits. (See Part 1: Tagger Kits - Not Just For Tags at http://ambrosiaartsva.blogspot.com/ or http://www.feliceoriginal.blogspot.com/)

Previously, I gave of example of artist trading cards and brag book quickpages that could be created using tagger (and full size, of course) kits. Today, getting into the spirit of the holidays, I'm using Felice Originals Sweet Christmas and Christmas Past kits plus my own Berkeley's Christmas kit to show you some other ways to use your stash.

Since we're all busy thinking about gift giving, I thought I'd make some baggie toppers to decorate ziplock baggies filled with cookies. I'm using Ziplock brand sandwich baggies for this and found that they measure a tiny bit over 6.5 inches across the top. I suggest you measure the baggie you plan to use and adjust the individual baggie topper pattern to fit. In case you are using the same baggies I am I'm also including a layout with the baggie topper and a bookmark already laid out for printing on cardstock or glossy photopaper.

You will want to use the print-to-border option on your printer set-up.

This is what the baggie toppers and bookmarks I made using Felice's Sweet Christmas and Christmas Past look like before folding:

And here is how they look attached to baggies filled with cookies. Nice touch, isn't it? the bookmarks will be tucked inside books I'm giving as gifts. Give a child in your family plenty of books and make time to read with them when they are small. The gift of reading is a wonderful gift that will open all sorts of doors and keeps giving for a lifetime.

Tagger Kits - Not Just For Tags

Hi, Everybody,

This article was written by my friend SherryD and one of my CT girls.

If you're reading this, chances are you are a tagger. You love making tags and can't resist collecting more and more of the wonderful tagger kits available. It's addictive! But, if you are only making tags with your stash of tagger kits, you are limiting yourself and not getting the most out of your investment.

I'd like to show you how you can make the most use of your kits.

I'll start by making examples with a couple of Felice's recent kits so you'll have examples of the ideas I'm talking about.

First, we've just had Halloween so it's a little late to make tags to go this year. However, nothing wrong with getting a jump start on next year so here are a couple examples made with Boo Juice and Pumpkin Witch. (Be kind and bear in mind that I'm not primarily a tagger. I'm sure you will do better.) BTW I should mention that Boo Juice is full size not tagger size.

Bet you have some cute photos of the children dressed for Halloween? Don't leave them on the computer. You can create cute bragbook pages with just a little effort from most tagger kits. Set up a blank canvas of size 6" wide and 4" high. Sometimes the papers in a tagger kit will almost cover the canvas or were created at a high enough resolution you can get away with stretching them a little. At other times, you will need to layer papers. Try mirroring the same paper and you might get a good look. Or stretch one a little, maybe to cover 4" of the bragbook width, then cut a fancy side border from another background and layer it on. Print out,

tie together with pretty ribbons and leave out on the coffee table for guests to look at. Here are some bragbook pages I made with Boo Juice and Pumpkin Witch and left as quickpages for you,

Another great use for tagger kits is making Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) - little pieces of art to exchange with other artists and friends. Some Halloween ATCs would be great to print out, write a message on the back and pop into school lunch bags or even your hubby's briefcase. Just a little way to say, "I love you," and make someone smile. Here are a couple examples:

Why i was MIA for so long!!!

Hi boys and Girls,

Sorry I was MIA for so long.

My health with my Fibromyalgia was totaly crap.

Lots of pain up to a point where I couldn't move anymore.

I had to much stress with the stores I was in....not the stores it self tho.

But all I had to do for so much stores was something I couldn't handle.

So I'm in one store only now.....which would it be?.....drums please.....

I stayed at Exquisite Scraps.

This is my first store...Krissy took me in when I was a rookie,

and I stay true to her and the store.

My daughter was pregnant so I also had to spend a lot of time with her.

Which I did not mind btw. I loved the baby shopping and the trips to her gyneacoligist.

My beautiful GRANDDAUGHTER was born on the 31th of may 2011.

Her name is FLEUR.

She weight 2335 grams, so she is very tiny.

So I'm a GRANNY now and loving it. She is my precious lil monkey.

Now isn't she just adorable. I love my wee bundle of joy.

My comeback will be soon with lots of gorgeous baby stuff.

Lil Fleur is my inspiration at the moment.

Taggers Together 4 New Zealand!!!

How true are those words? As Designers we have a multitude of design projects going on at the same time, we advertise, we read 100's of emails a day, we participate in blog trains, we manage Creative Teams/stores/blogs..... The list is never-ending for us, isn't it? But sometimes, real life throws us a blow and we need to step back, take a breath and re-evaluate our priorities for a bit.
This is one of those times.

A tremendous number of members in our tagging & designing community have had their worlds turned upside down recently. I'm talking of course, about the devastating Earthquakes in New Zealand, centered in a city called Christchurch although the damage has reached hundreds of miles in every direction. At this writing, there are 97 confirmed dead, with hundred more still missing and unaccounted for. These are our online friends, our digiscrap store owners, our designing partners and our customers. Personally I have 3 of the aforementioned deeply affected by these quakes, one has lost a dear friend. I can't sit by and watch this type of suffering and just offer cyber hugs any longer - it's not enough.

It is within OUR power to make a difference.

The message below is from the organizer ( Artmama ) of this
huge collaberation and believe me it is not one to be missed.
There are 47 kits spanning all 4 seasons.

HOW DONATORS WILL RECEIVE "SEASONS"
I'm including this in case you get questions about the kit's distribution after the kit is released on March 13th. I recommend you send them directly to the blog to read it, but this is in case you prefer to answer them yourself. This information is all on the "How To Donate 4 Seasons" page on our blog.

Once a donation is complete, the donator will automatically receive a receipt from the Salvation Army detailing their donation. This receipt does not have any credit card or paypal information on it, just the type of card used and donation amount. The minimum donation to receive the kit is $10 USD They're asked to please forward that receipt to me at this address - taggers2gether4NZ@gmail.com. Once I have their receipt I will send them the link to my 4shared account along with the password they need to download all 47 kits that make up Seasons. Please give me 24 hrs to get the links to them due to the volume of requests I expect to receive. If they do NOT hear from me with the link within 24 hours of sending it, I've asked them resend their receipt again. We all know that emails can be tricky sometimes and their email possibly was eaten by the cyber world.

I know it's bin a while sinds i blogged, I had the flu together with my hubby.

We where all snuggled up in bed together , couching and sneesing on eachother and holding eachother when we where cold.

Hi Girls and Gent

I'm sorry for neglegting you for so long, but a lot is happened here at my home.
My hubby got rushed to hospital with stroke like symptoms, luckely it was not,but his vein in his brain was near ruptured. So he needed a mayor operation to fix this.

His eye was paralized and he could not see with his left eye. Needles to say I was so afraid of loosing him.

Now a few months later al is fine with him, his eye is not paralized anymore and he can see a whole lot better.

Let me tell you, I'm so happy with his recovery.

When he got back from hospital I got a bad flare of my fibromyalgia and it is still not over.

But I'm feeling a bit better now.

So now I stop babbling and show you some awsome tags CT members made for me.

A bit dissapointed and new layouts

Hi girls,

It's so hot here in my little country called Holland. It's over 30 degrees here and we're not use to these temperatures.Pfff...nothing seems to be working.I'm working on my new kit but i can't stay focussed with al this heat in my house.So i'll try to tell you what occupies my mind.
My kit Sweet Baby Love isn't selling,and thats a big bummer for me.I'm just so dissapointed right now.
What can be wrong? Everybody who see's my kit said it's lovely,but no one want's to buy it. Maybe you're all baby tired or something i don't know.It seems to be that no one wants my freebies either.
Girls i give them away for free!!!!
I think my kit is gorgeous and cute so i won't just give up.
In a few days i will post another freebie here.Maybe it works then.(hope so)
Anyway enough babbling about me and my mind, i have 2 cute new layouts to show you.
